Brighter books for brighter children.
Blue Fluff Books are very proud to make a postive impact on children's lives not only in the UK but across the World. We strive to provide each primary school and children's hospital in the UK with free electronic copies of our books, as well as author visits and creative workshops.
Evidence suggests that children who read for enjoyment every day not only perform better in reading tests than those who don’t, but also develop a broader vocabulary, increased general knowledge and a better understanding of other cultures. Reading for pleasure is also more likely to determine whether your child does well at school than their social or economic background.
Resources for Parents
Parents are by far the most important educators in a child’s life and it’s never too young for your child to start, even if you’re only reading with your child for a few minutes a day. Even if your child doesn’t understand every word, they’ll hear new sounds, words and phrases which they can then try out, copying what they have heard. Before they're born, babies learn to recognise their parents' voices, and reading to your baby from the time they're born gives them the comfort of your voice and increases their exposure to language. As children start to learn to read at school, parents can play an important role in helping to keep them interested in books a home, finding out what interests them and giving them books that are engaging and fun, and that's what our ultimate goal is here at Blue Fluff Books.

Resources for Teachers
Blue Fluff Books are specifically written to challenge children's reading skills, introduce them to words possibly previously unknown, and increase their knowledge-base. We have put together a resources pack specifically for teachers including a lesson plan based around the book 'Nana's Knickers', along with other writing exercises and fun games and colouring sheets.
